Lilac crocheted necklace

This is my third necklace I crocheted, have to find photos of oher 2. I used two different sizes of wooden beads and covered them using single crochet. Very easy to do but my first beads were far from perfection...well still are :P

I also used some fake pearls and FIMO flowers.

Have a nice Thursday...only 1 more day to weekend...and surprise - there is a sunshine outside my windows :D

My first steps in ball beading - Red Earings

Last few days I spent trying to learn how to make beaded balls. It's not easy at all. Finally I've got "almost" perfect pair of new earings.
I used Toho Round Seed Beads, size 11/0, Silver Lined Siam Ruby Red.

As you can see, the one on the right is not a ball shape at all :P ohh well...

Black Crocheted Earings

Recently I got crazy about jewellery, I had no idea that there is such a huge range of different techniques. I started with something I know...crocheting.
I made pair of black crocheted earings yesterday - inside there is a wooden bead...recycled from car seat :D

Nappy cake

Who said that babies can't have cakes? Not me, that's why I made this 6 tiered huge cake for a week old lovely baby boy.

I've used 184 nappies and believe me I'm sure I'll be dreaming about them :P Parents were very happy when saw the cake. I also gave this small box, purchased it in The Range and just personalised with small piece of fabric with the name and the day of birth. I absolutely adore this little man (ehem not that little he had 9lb, 4100g when was born) :P

Enjoy Tuesday and the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, unfortunately there is no street party on my street, such a shame :)

Bathroom Hanger

I just finished bathroom hanger. When I saw it in Cross Stitcher Issue 216 I knew that one day I'll make one for myself. My landing is in grey and red so colours in this pattern where just perfect.

I have to say it looks better than I thought. I added some red ribbon and beads to make it more colourfull.

Purrfect gift

Hi everyone :) Can I just say - I'm totally fed up with the weather, few more days like this and I will start using my garden as a swimming pool :P it is very possible when you think that they forecast heavy rains for next month - great :P

Today I wanted to show my latest cross stitch project. I absolutely love this range. It's Kats by Kelly, Callico Crossroads - Check Up. My cats act in exactly the same when it come to go to lovely Mr Vet :P

Buckets

We found great buckets in Dunelm yesterday. We've been looking for some storage boxes for a while and decided that these are perfect.

I couldn't resist myself and had to add something from myself :D

 Tortie approved it.

And that's what it looks like in the cupboard under stairs

I also hang my permin pictures on the wall  lokks even better than I thought.
